Police halt illegal transport of a Tesla and mobile crane in Hesse

Two oversized vehicles were stopped by police after attempting an unauthorised journey through southern Hesse. The drivers, aged 30 and 61, were transporting a mobile crane and a tesla without the necessary permits. Authorities intervened early in the morning, halting the convoy near Zell.

The incident began when the two heavy transports tried to travel along Federal Highway 45. They lacked both a special permit and a mandatory safety escort vehicle. The approved route for such loads required night-time travel between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, but the drivers allegedly took a closed local through-road in Zell without permission.

The unauthorised transport has led to legal action against both drivers and their autotrader. Road authorities will assess any structural harm from the heavy vehicles. Further details, such as the exact date and names involved, remain undisclosed in public records.
