POL-OH: License plate stolen - Theft of Christmas stars
Police in Bad Hersfeld are investigating two separate thefts that took place over the weekend. A pair of illuminated Christmas stars vanished from a charity’s fenced property, while a car’s rear licence plate was stolen from a residential street. Authorities are now asking the public for help in solving both cases.
The first incident occurred between Friday afternoon (December 19) and Sunday morning (December 21). Two large wooden Christmas stars, each lit with LEDs and worth around €220, were taken from the fenced grounds of a relief organisation on Friedewalder Straße in the Hohe Luft district.
Meanwhile, between Thursday afternoon (December 18) and Friday evening (December 19), thieves removed the rear licence plate 'HEF-AM 799' from an Audi A4 parked on Hainchenweg. Anyone with information about either theft is urged to contact Bad Hersfeld Police Station. Officers can be reached by phone at +49 6621 932-0 or through the online reporting system at [www.polizei.hessen.de](http://www.polizei.hessen.de).
