In Hanau, two men stole smoked salmon worth around β¬250 from a supermarket. Witnesses described the suspects as aged between 35 and 40, both with dark beards and dressed in dark clothing. They escaped in a small grey SUV bearing Dutch licence plates. Separately, in Bad Orb, a man verbally abused and threatened a young woman at a local kiosk. The suspect, believed to be around 30 years old, had a full black beard and wore all-black clothing. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward, as the man remains unidentified.
The incidents remain under investigation, with police urging anyone with information to contact them. The hit-and-run on the A66 left behind costly damage, while the supermarket theft and verbal assault in Bad Orb both saw suspects escape without arrest.
