POL-LM: Break-in at shopping mall +++ Drunk and without driver's license, fell off scooter +++ Hit-and-run after drunk driving +++ Wood stolen

A series of incidents across Limburg and surrounding areas has left authorities investigating multiple crimes. Over the weekend, reports included a violent brawl with weapons, a supermarket burglary, and several alcohol-related traffic offences. Police are now piecing together the details of each case.

The most serious disturbance took place in Limburg (Westhessen), where a fight broke out involving multiple individuals. Officers identified a suspect wielding a machete, described as having a southern European appearance. Several others of Syrian origin were also involved after deploying pepper spray. A 21-year-old man from Fulda was named as the person who threw bottles during the altercation. Many participants, however, remain unidentified or unnamed.

Elsewhere, a supermarket in Bad Camberg fell victim to a late-night break-in. Unknown thieves forced their way into the sales area, though the extent of stolen goods has not yet been confirmed. The damage to the property alone is estimated at around €5,000. In a separate case, a 70-year-old driver from Waldbrunn fled the scene of an accident in Ellar. Police later determined he was under the influence of alcohol and did not hold a valid licence. Meanwhile, a 59-year-old man suffered serious injuries after crashing his scooter into a ditch on State Road 3022. Alcohol was also a factor in this incident. Thieves additionally targeted a forest plot between Villmar-Aumenau and Selters-Münster. Around 49 cubic metres of wood, worth approximately €3,500, were stolen from the site.

Authorities are now working to identify those responsible for the crimes. The incidents have led to property damage, injuries, and ongoing investigations. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
