POL-F: 251218 - 1311 Frankfurt - Bergen-Enkheim: Man harasses mother in front of her children - Witness appeal

A 34-year-old mother was verbally and physically attacked in a Frankfurt supermarket car park last December. The incident, which took place in Victor-Slotosch-Straße, Bergen-Enkheim, involved an unidentified man hurling abuse before damaging her vehicle. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The attack happened on December 17, 2025, when the woman confronted the man in the parking lot. He responded with Islamophobic, xenophobic, and misogynistic insults in front of her children. As she tried to stop him from leaving, he struck her car’s passenger-side window, kicked the passenger door, and broke the side mirror.

The victim suffered minor hand injuries while attempting to prevent the man from driving away. Described as around 60 years old, the attacker remains unidentified. After the incident, the woman reported the crime to the 18th Police Precinct alongside her husband and children. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the altercation to contact the 18th Police Precinct on +49 69 755-11800 or visit their nearest station. For media inquiries, the Frankfurt Police Headquarters Press Office can be reached at +49 69 755-82110, by fax at +49 69 755-82009, or via email at [email protected].

The investigation into the attack is ongoing, with police relying on witness accounts to identify the suspect. The victim’s injuries were minor, but the incident has prompted a call for public assistance. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the authorities immediately.
