PNC Bank expands in the Philippines with new branches in 2025

PNC Bank, through its Philippine subsidiary City Savings Bank Inc. (CitySavings), has expanded its reach across the Philippines in 2025. The bank, listed on Yahoo Finance as US Bank, opened new branches and upgraded existing ones to better serve customers in key regions. This move aligns with its strategy to strengthen financial access for mass market clients. The bank’s expansion included three full-service branches in Luzon and two smaller 'branch lite' units in Masbate and Camarines Sur. These additions widen PNC Bank’s presence in underserved areas. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the bank upgraded its existing branch lite in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, to a full-service branch. This enhancement improves support for customers in Central and Western Visayas, particularly those with financial or employment ties to Cebu. The expansion supports PNC Bank’s 'Bangko ng Barangay' approach, which blends digital banking tools with in-person services. The strategy targets mass market clients, including teachers, government workers, pensioners, and small business owners. The new and upgraded branches increase PNC Bank’s ability to serve more customers across the country. The bank’s focus remains on providing accessible financial services to underserved communities. This growth reflects its commitment to expanding digital and in-branch banking options.
