Pitstop rebrands German branches to highlight HUK-Coburg ownership
Pitstop, the auto service chain, is updating the look of its branches across Germany. The changes highlight the company's growing ties with HUK-Coburg, its majority owner. New signage will now display both the Pitstop and HUK logos on storefronts.
HUK-Coburg first bought a stake in Pitstop back in 2022. Last year, the insurer increased its shareholding, signalling a deeper integration of the workshop business into its operations. The rebranding reflects this strategy, positioning HUK-Coburg as a broader mobility service provider.
The updated design will roll out at around 50 branches this year. Most locations will feature only the HUK logo without additional text. However, where a branch includes both a Pitstop workshop and a HUK-Coburg customer service office, the full company name will appear. Sankt Augustin became the first branch to adopt the new look in 2026. The site combines workshop services with a HUK-Coburg office, making it the only confirmed location of its kind so far.
The visual refresh marks a clear shift in branding for Pitstop. With HUK-Coburg's logo now prominent, the move reinforces the group's expanding role in the automotive service sector. The changes will take effect at dozens of branches in the coming months.
