Pickpocket Arrested at Frankfurt Festival, €850 in Stolen Goods Recovered
A pickpocket was apprehended by the police at the Museum Embankment Festival in Frankfurt on Friday evening, August 30, 2025. The suspect, along with two accomplices, had stolen merchandise worth around €850 from a stall. The stolen goods were later recovered and returned to the stallholder. The suspect, a woman with no fixed address in Germany, was found in possession of a butterfly knife during the arrest. She was taken into central police custody. A child accompanying the suspect was placed in the care of a guardian. The police have not yet released any further details about the woman, as searches for information yielded no results. The stolen goods, valued at approximately €850, have been recovered and returned to the stallholder. The suspect remains in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.
