Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky’s New Bus Terminal to Open by Late 2025

A new regional bus terminal is set to open in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky by the end of 2025. The project, backed by special treasury loans, will transform a former Central Bank garage into a modern transport hub. The terminal will be built at the intersection of Lomonosov and Karl Marx streets, featuring a passenger platform, access roads, a pedestrian zone, and a diesel boiler plant, with capacity for up to 20 buses at once. This project management initiative aims to improve travel links between the regional capital and surrounding districts, serving as a key transport node for residents and visitors. Construction is currently underway, with completion expected before 2026. The regional government has prioritized this project as part of broader infrastructure upgrades. Once finished, the terminal will enhance public transport in Kamchatka Krai, with the repurposed garage site becoming a functional hub for bus services. Officials have not yet announced further specifics on the project's development team.
