Pedestrian killed in Lampertheim after being hit by a car on State Road L3110

A 36-year-old man died in a traffic accident on State Road L3110 in Lampertheim on Tuesday evening, November 25. The collision occurred at 18:11, involving a car heading toward HĂźttenfeld. Emergency services, including an air rescue helicopter, rushed to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

The victim was struck while attempting to cross the road. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 35-year-old man from Viernheim, was living in a refugee shelter in Lampertheim’s Wildbahn district. He and his six-year-old daughter, who were in the vehicle at the time, sustained minor injuries.

The investigation into the crash continues, with authorities relying on witness accounts and forensic analysis. The road has since reopened, but the incident has left a family grieving and a community in shock. Police have not yet released further details on potential charges or additional findings.
