Pastor Thomas Reitz leaves Seligenstadt after five transformative years

After nearly five years of service, Thomas Reitz is leaving his role in Seligenstadt and Mainhausen. He will soon take up a new position as pastor at Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen’s Evangelical Reformed Three Kings Congregation. His departure marks the end of a period widely recognised for his dedication and collaborative approach to ministry.

Thomas Reitz first arrived in Seligenstadt and Mainhausen in 2018, where he became known for his commitment to both pastoral work and church governance. Over the years, he played an active role in the deanery and regional synods of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau. His involvement extended beyond local duties, shaping broader church policies and initiatives.

Thomas Reitz’s move to Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen leaves a notable gap in Seligenstadt and Mainhausen. His contributions to the congregation, daycare centres, and wider region have been widely valued. The interim team will now ensure the community continues to thrive while the search for a new pastor progresses.
