Parked bus erupts in flames near Frankfurt's Main riverbank overnight
A parked bus caught fire late on Saturday night along the southern bank of the Main river in Frankfurt am Main. Emergency services responded quickly after receiving multiple calls just after 2:11 a.m. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Firefighters arrived to find the coach bus fully engulfed in flames. They immediately launched a large-scale operation, deploying four hoses to tackle the blaze. A total of 26 personnel worked on the scene until around 3:24 a.m.
Police have since opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. Authorities have not yet released further details about the probe or the bus's condition before the incident.
