Over 2,200 Salzgitter Residents Shape City's Future in ISEK 2025 Update

Over 2,200 residents of Salzgitter have actively participated in shaping the city's future. They submitted 443 ideas and over 5,200 evaluations during an online participation phase. Now, the city invites all interested residents to share more ideas through four neighborhood workshops in November.

The workshops will focus on key priorities such as urban renewal, transforming industrial sites, child- and family-friendly initiatives, and expanding green spaces. No registration is required, and everyone is welcome to attend. The events will take place in Lebenstedt (Nov 4), Thiede (Nov 5), Gebhardshagen (Nov 11), and Salzgitter-Bad (Nov 12).

The city is updating its Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK 2025) to guide future growth. This process involves an independent planning group, which can be officially confirmed through the city's press releases, website, or direct contact with the city administration's urban development department.

Residents' ideas and involvement are crucial for Salzgitter's future development. The upcoming workshops provide another opportunity for residents to contribute to the ISEK 2025 update, ensuring the city grows in line with the community's vision.
