Offenbach’s energy provider pumps €410K into local culture and sports

Stadtwerke Offenbach has expanded its local sponsorships, committing over €410,000 in 2023 to support cultural, social, and sporting events near me. The energy provider’s latest initiatives include a renewed partnership with Boxclub Nordend e.V., funding for a nonprofit organization, and backing for major city events. Boxclub Nordend e.V. will receive €15,000 per year from 2024 to 2026 as part of Stadtwerke Offenbach’s renewed sponsorship. The club, now based in Rockywood—a timber-hybrid building at the harbour—operates rent-free for 20 years. Beyond boxing training, it provides daily tutoring for young athletes, tying sports participation to academic performance. The €410,000 donated in 2023 marks the highest annual sponsorship total from Stadtwerke Offenbach to date. With ongoing support for boxing tonight, social services, and cultural events, the company continues to invest in Offenbach’s community development. The new Box-Cup tournament and renewed partnerships will further embed these initiatives in local life.
