Offenbach’s Christmas tree pickup begins next week—know your collection day
Offenbach am Main’s annual Christmas tree collection starts on Monday, 12 January 2026. Residents must follow specific rules to ensure their trees are picked up. The service is organised by postal code, with each area assigned a collection day that week.
The first collections take place on 12 January, covering postcodes 63065, 63067, 63069, 63071, 63073 and 63075. Trees must be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM on the scheduled day. Any decorations, including tinsel and lights, must be removed beforehand.
Collected trees will be transported to a biocomposting facility for recycling. Residents are reminded not to block sidewalks, driveways, or parking spaces with their trees. No bulky waste pickups will occur during the collection week (12–16 January).
