Offenbach ice cream parlor and bar hit by Christmas burglaries
Two businesses in Offenbach were targeted by burglars over the Christmas holidays. An ice cream parlor on Herrnstraße was hit first. The first break-in took place at the ice cream parlor on Christmas Eve. Surveillance footage captured a lone suspect entering the shop around 5:15 p.m. The offender stole money and left the interior ransacked. The second incident occurred at the bar between 10 p.m. on Saturday and 8:55 a.m. the next morning. Thieves forced their way in. Both establishments suffered financial losses and property damage. Authorities continue to investigate the incidents, though no arrests have been made so far. The break-ins remain under active review by local police.
