Offenbach hosts key economic leaders to shape regional growth strategies
Offenbach recently hosted a key meeting for regional economic leaders. On July 5, 2023, the FrankfurtRheinMain Regional Marketing Working Group gathered in the city. Around 35 professionals attended to discuss local opportunities and share updates on economic trends. The event took place at the newly built Rathaus Office Center in Offenbach's Stadthof complex. Organised by Offenbach Economic Development, it showcased the city's ongoing projects and future plans. Head of the department Niermann presented the latest initiatives, including the Town Hall Pavilion and the Weather and Climate Workshop—both part of Offenbach's Future Inner City concept.
The FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH (FRM GmbH) led the working group session. As the region's location marketing organisation, it connects 35 districts, cities, and municipalities across Hesse, Bavaria, and Rhineland-Palatinate. Its work focuses on attracting foreign investment, boosting global competitiveness, and supporting international business relocations. Attendees explored ways to strengthen the region's appeal. The meeting provided a platform for networking and exchanging ideas on economic growth strategies.
The gathering highlighted Offenbach's role in regional economic development. FRM GmbH continues to act as the main contact for companies looking to relocate to the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area. The event reinforced collaboration between local authorities and business representatives.
