Offenbach Area Hit by Series of Incidents: Fires, Attacks, and Road Chaos
Offenbach and surrounding areas experienced a series of incidents over the past few days. A woman was attacked, two fires were set, and several road incidents occurred, causing minor injuries and property damage.
On Monday, two trash cans at a multi-family house in Berliner Straße, Offenbach, were set ablaze around 5:40 pm. The cause of the fires remains unknown.
Earlier that day, around 5 pm, an unknown person physically harassed a resident in a high-rise in Heinrich-Heine-Straße, Offenbach. The victim sustained minor injuries, and the motive behind the attack is unclear.
In Neu-Isenburg, an argument between two road users in 'Am Kalbskopf' escalated on Monday. A 60-year-old was allegedly subjected to suspected dangerous bodily harm.
On Tuesday morning, a Range Rover driver caused significant damage on federal road B486 in Dreieich. The vehicle crashed into traffic islands, a traffic light installation, and a street lamp, resulting in an estimated 15,000 euros worth of property damage.
In a separate incident, unknown persons stole a white VW Golf in Borngasse, Rodermark, on Sunday evening around 10 pm.
