Nordwand-Sports Expands to Bigger Space in FĂŒssen’s Retail Heart

Nordwand-Sports, run by Herbert and Silke Ott, is expanding its presence in FĂŒssen. The shop will move from Augustenstraße to a larger space at the entrance of the pedestrian zone. The relocation comes as the town faces ongoing debates about empty shops and retail struggles.

The Otts were not searching for a new location when the chance arose. Yet Herbert Ott now calls the move a fantastic opportunity. Their current shop will close its doors, and the business will reopen in a space nearly twice as big.

Nordwand-Sports will soon operate from a more prominent spot in FĂŒssen. The larger space could help the business grow, even as other shops in town struggle. The Otts’ relocation marks a rare expansion in a difficult retail climate.
