NHW to Build €15M Residential Complex in Frankfurt's Niederrad

Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt (NHW) is set to construct a five-story residential square in Niederrad, Frankfurt. The project, costing approximately €15 million, will replace a former single-family home on a 1,350-square-meter site. It is expected to be completed by 2027.

The building will house 39 apartment units, ranging from two to four rooms and spanning 53.5 to 113.5 square meters. All units will feature balconies or rooftop terraces, with ground-floor apartment units also boasting private gardens.

The project includes seven social housing units at around €7 per square meter. Additionally, there will be eight middle-income apartment units renting for between €9.50 and €11.50 per square meter. Market-rate units will go for about €17.80 per square meter.

The State of Hesse is supporting the project with around €2 million, and the City of Frankfurt is contributing an additional €1.2 million.

NHW's residential square project in Niederrad aims to cater to a mix of income levels, with a significant portion dedicated to affordable housing. Upon completion in 2027, it will provide Frankfurt with 39 modern, well-equipped apartment units.
