The incident occurred at around 00:10 on Aarstraße, where an unknown person launched a rocket that flew through an open door, exploded, and ignited a blaze. Separately, two burglars attempted to break into a home in Niedernhausen-Engenhahn just over an hour later. Police are now investigating both cases and seeking witnesses.
The fire in Taunusstein-Wehen began when a stray firework entered the kiosk through an open door. It struck a wall, detonated, and started a fire. Meanwhile, in Taunusstein-Hahn, a gumball machine on Zum Schwimmbad street was forcibly broken into, causing several hundred euros in damage. It is unclear whether anything was stolen.
