New Leader for Hanau's Steinheim Local Court: Michael Köhler Takes Over From Helmut Sehr
Hanau's local court system has seen a change in leadership. After 25 years of service, Helmut Sehr stepped down as the presiding officer of Hanau V Steinheim local court. The city has six local courts in total, including Steinheim and five others, which play a crucial role in assisting citizens and supreme court matters.
Michael Köhler has been appointed as the new president of Hanau V Steinheim local court, succeeding Helmut Sehr who held the position since 2000. Köhler was sworn in as the new lay assessor, marking a smooth transition in leadership. Lord Mayor Claus Kaminsky commended Köhler's dedication and willingness to take on the responsibility. Local courts in Hesse, including Hanau's, perform vital functions such as certifying signatures, securing estates, and assessing property values.
Michael Köhler takes over from Helmut Sehr, who was unable to attend his farewell ceremony due to health reasons. Burkhard Huwe continues his role as presiding officer. The local courts in Hanau remain committed to serving the community, with Michael Köhler ready to lead Hanau V Steinheim local court.
