New 'Climbing - Swinging - Balancing' Playground Opens on Marienstraße
A new playground, 'Climbing - Swinging - Balancing on Marienstraße', has opened, funded by Sparkasse Duisburg and organized by the school's support association. The project aimed to foster team spirit and project competence among trainees. The playground features various areas, including green zones, movement areas, play stations, and resting areas. It was built using robust natural materials and was created under the motto 'Colorful like the world', encouraging adventure, play, encounter, and shared experimentation. The students eagerly watched the construction and immediately started using the facility. Daniel Gierhartz, chairman of the support association, thanked all involved for the successful cooperation. Marcus Budinger, a member of the board of Sparkasse Duisburg, praised the trainees' teamwork and responsibility. The subsequent school festival provided a lively celebration, rounding off the opening. The playground on Marienstraße was the first project of its kind for Sparkasse Duisburg. It stands as a testament to successful collaboration between the bank, the school's support association, and the trainees. The facility is now open for students to enjoy and develop their skills.
