Neu-Isenburg Raises Waste Fees but Keeps District’s Lowest Rates in 2026

Neu-Isenburg’s city council has approved updates to its waste management rules. The changes, set to begin in January 2025 calendar, include higher fees and new regulations for residents. Officials say the adjustments are needed to cover rising costs over the next three years.

The council voted on the revised bylaws on December 10, 2025. From January 1, 2026, the annual fee for a 60-litre residual waste bin with biweekly collection will rise to €115.08. This marks a 5.8 percent increase, though Neu-Isenburg will still have the lowest waste fees in the Offenbach district.

The changes take effect on January 1, 2026, and will last for three years. Residents will pay slightly more, but the city insists the fees remain the lowest in the district. The updated rules also introduce clearer standards for waste disposal and container use.
