Thousands of People in Neu-Isenburg Without Power - Neu-Isenburg faces power outage after substation construction mishap

Around 38, the power outage was first reported by Hessischer Rundfunk. Energieversorgung Offenbach (EVO), the local utility, is now working to restore power. Their target is to have service resumed by late morning. The incident comes shortly after a multi-day blackout in Berlin earlier this month. That disruption was caused by an arson attack, drawing widespread attention. However, the current situation in Neu-Isenburg appears unrelated, with no reports of deliberate interference. EVO has not yet named the team leader or project manager overseeing the repairs. Repair crews remain focused on fixing the damaged cable. If successful, electricity should return to affected households by late morning. The cause remains linked to construction work at the substation.
