Neu-Isenburg bars fail surprise safety and youth protection checks

Police in Neu-Isenburg conducted surprise inspections at nine bars and restaurants on Monday evening. Between 10 p.m. and midnight, officers checked 62 people and found several legal violations. Administrative proceedings have now been initiated for each offense discovered.

The operation focused on safety and youth protection rules. Three venues failed to display the legally required markings for emergency exits. In another three, fire extinguishers had expired inspection seals.

Two businesses had outdated mandatory notices for youth protection. Officers also discovered a 17-year-old in the smoking area of one establishment, violating age restrictions.

Authorities have initiated administrative offense proceedings against each venue where violations were found. The checks aimed to ensure compliance with safety and youth protection laws. No further details about the specific businesses were released.
