Naurod's Rudolf-Dietz-Straße to close for three weeks over utility work

Rudolf-Dietz-Straße in Naurod will close completely for nearly three weeks. The shutdown starts on Monday, February 23, and is expected to last until around Saturday, March 14. Essentials utility connection work at house number 8 is the reason for the disruption.

The full closure affects all vehicles at the junction near house number 8. Drivers are being warned to plan ahead, as delays are likely—particularly during rush hours. The city has asked motorists to allow extra travel time or choose different routes.

Cyclists will need to detour around the blocked section. Pedestrians, however, can still use their usual paths without interruption. No official alternative routes have been suggested for drivers or cyclists.

The work is scheduled to finish by mid-March, weather permitting. Until then, traffic in the area will face disruptions. Authorities have urged patience while the essential connections are completed.
