Nassau Street in Wiesbaden-Biebrich to Close for Gas Pipe Repair
Nassau Street in Wiesbaden-Biebrich is set to undergo a complete closure for car and bicycle traffic from October 21. The reason behind this is a leaking gas pipe, which requires immediate repair. The local gas utility company or municipal services will handle the repair work.
The closure will affect the entrance area at the roundabout where Steinberger Street and Wald Street meet. Pedestrians, however, can continue to use their usual paths without any disruption.
Work has already commenced with a half-side closure in place. The repair is expected to be completed by November 2, with traffic restrictions in place at the roundabout. A mobile traffic light will regulate traffic from Wald Street and Steinberger Street during this period.
The closure of Nassau Street is necessary to ensure the safety of residents and passersby. Motorists and cyclists are advised to plan alternative routes during this time. Pedestrians can continue with their usual routines.
