Mystery donor slips a stranger hundreds in euros at a German bar
A 24-year-old man had an unusual encounter at a Gelnhausen bar between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. He received an unknown, high triple-digit sum from a stranger. Police are now seeking this unknown man to clarify the incident.
The man, who remains unnamed, discovered the money in his shirt pocket after initially finding a €20 note. He used the smaller amount to buy two beers before realising the larger sum. The police, who have secured the money, describe the unknown benefactor as tall, between 1.80 and 1.85 meters, with short brownish hair. They urge him to come forward.
The Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters has not released information on any man accused of randomly or intentionally giving away large sums of money. The 24-year-old man is now assisting police in their investigation.
