Museumsuferfest 2025: Frankfurt Police Promise Safety with International Support and Drone Defense

The Museumsuferfest 2025 in Frankfurt am Main is set to open on Friday, August 29, at 6:00 PM. The local police authority, Polizei Frankfurt am Main, will ensure safety with international support and advanced technology.

The festival, spanning both banks of the Main from the Iron Bridge to the Peace Bridge, will run from Friday to Sunday. Visitors can expect traffic restrictions due to certified vehicle safety barriers.

Frankfurt Police will be present throughout the event, offering assistance and information. They will use a police drone for defence and detection of drones, which are prohibited from flying over crowds. Violations may result in fines up to €50,000, as enforced by the Darmstadt Government Presidency.

The hessenWARN app can be used to receive security updates. The police will also provide information via their @Polizei_Ffm X account and WhatsApp channel. International police officers from 14 nations will join Frankfurt Police patrol teams on Friday and Sunday.

The Museumsuferfest 2025 promises a safe and enjoyable experience, with police presence, advanced technology, and international support. The festival will be open from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Friday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM on Sunday.
