Mühlbach underpass repairs delayed by shortages and technical issues

Repairs on the underpass beneath Mühlbach on State Road 3174 in Dippach are taking longer than planned. Unexpected issues and material shortages have pushed back the completion date. The road will now stay fully closed for another three weeks.

The project was originally set to finish sooner, but supply chain problems delayed the arrival of key building materials. These shortages, combined with unforeseen technical challenges, have extended the timeline.

The extended closure means drivers will need to keep using the temporary routes for now. Once repairs are finished, the underpass will be fully operational again. Hessen Mobil has not named the company carrying out the work.
