Mother and Daughter Caught in Germany With Fake Travel Documents

Federal Police at Frankfurt Airport stopped a 38-year-old Angolan woman and her 16-year-old daughter from entering Germany illegally. The pair were caught using fake documents as part of a wider human trafficking operation. Both were detained on suspicion of visa fraud and falsifying travel papers.

The two travellers arrived with German Schengen visas meant for tourism. Investigations revealed they planned to use these visas to secure permanent residency in Portugal for the teenager. Authorities discovered that the woman had falsely claimed her husband had consented to the girl’s departure.

The visas were immediately cancelled, and both individuals received entry and residence bans. Criminal proceedings were launched against them for visa fraud and indirect document forgery. The suspects were deported back to Luanda, Angola, on the same day. The case linked to an international smuggling network that had tried to bring the pair into Germany using forged or altered documents. Police confirmed the operation was part of a larger human trafficking investigation.

The two Angolan nationals now face legal consequences in their home country. Their attempted entry was blocked, and their visas were revoked. German authorities continue to monitor similar cases involving fraudulent travel documents.
