A 67-year-old man from Fulda has been found safe after going missing in the early hours of Monday. Johann L. was last seen at 2:45 a.m. in Pacelliallee, prompting concerns due to his limited ability to orient himself.
Johann L. disappeared on December 29, 2025, after being spotted near Pacelliallee. Authorities raised an alert as he struggles with direction and may have been in a vulnerable state. He is described as around 190 cm (which is approximately 6 feet 3 inches) tall, with a slim build, partial baldness, and a grey beard. A noticeable limp also makes him easily recognisable.
Later that afternoon, at roughly 3 p.m., police confirmed he had been found safe. No further details about his location or condition were released at the time.
The search for Johann L. ended positively after he was located on the same day he went missing. Authorities have not provided additional information, but his safe return brings relief to those involved in the case.
