Missing 13-year-old girl found safe on Christmas morning in Wiesbaden

A 13-year-old girl from Wiesbaden who disappeared last week has been found safe. Yeva Ponomarenko returned home unharmed in the early hours of Christmas Day after being missing for nearly six days. Yeva was last seen leaving her home around 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, heading to school. Her family reported her missing when she failed to return that day. The last contact with her was a phone call with her mother on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. Police and volunteers searched the area while her family appealed for information. Authorities confirmed her safe return on December 25 but have not yet released further details about where she was found. Yeva's disappearance lasted from December 19 until her return on Christmas morning. The case has now been closed, with no reports of injuries or foul play. Local authorities have not commented on the circumstances surrounding her absence.
