Miracle Escape: Driver and Passenger Survive Frankfurt River Plunge

A serious traffic accident occurred in Frankfurt on Friday afternoon, involving a vehicle that ended up in the Main River. Fortunately, both the 21-year-old driver and his 20-year-old passenger escaped unharmed.

The incident took place in the Dieselstraße area. The driver lost control of his car, leading to it plunging into the river. Despite the dramatic turn of events, both occupants managed to exit the car safely. The Frankfurt Fire Department was called in to recover the car, which was later declared a total loss. The head of the Traffic Education Department at the Frankfurt Police Headquarters, Ralf Lauter, has been named as the contact person for further information regarding this incident.

The car recovery operation was successfully carried out by the fire department, but the car was unfortunately declared a total loss. The police continue to investigate the cause of the accident, and anyone with information is urged to contact Ralf Lauter, the head of the Traffic Education Department.
