Michael H. Heinz Re-elected BDWi President, Advocating for Germany's Middle Entrepreneurial Sector

Michael H. Heinz, a long-standing member of the BDWi's presidium since 2006, has been re-elected as its president. The BDWi, representing 20 industry associations and 100,000 predominantly medium-sized companies in the service sector, includes significant portions of the insurance and financial services sales, such as the Federal Association of German Insurance Brokers (BVK).

Heinz, who also serves as the president of the BVK, has been urging the current German federal government under Chancellor Friedrich Merz in 2025 to pay more attention to strengthening the middle entrepreneurial sector. The BDWi, under Heinz's leadership, aims to foster growth and competitiveness in this vital economic segment. With his re-election, Heinz continues to advocate for the interests of the represented companies, promoting a robust and dynamic service sector.

Michael H. Heinz's re-election as BDWi president underscores the importance of the middle entrepreneurial sector in Germany's economy. His ongoing advocacy for this sector, as well as his leadership of the BVK, reflects the BDWi's commitment to supporting and strengthening its member companies.
