Medios AG names Stefan Bauerreis as new CFO amid European expansion

Medios AG has appointed Stefan Bauerreis as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 15, 2026. The company, Germany's first listed specialty pharmaceutical firm, is strengthening its financial leadership as it expands across Europe. Bauerreis brings decades of experience in corporate finance and international business transformation to the role.

Bauerreis will join Medios AG's Executive Board, taking over from Falk Neukirch, who leaves the position on April 30, 2026. His background includes senior finance roles at Schaeffler Group and, most recently, serving as CFO of Stabilus Group. His expertise spans corporate accounting, controlling, financing, and restructuring international companies.

Medios AG operates in four European markets—Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain—specialising in individualised medicine. The company's shares trade on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and are part of the SDAX index. Dr. Yann Samson, Chairman of Medios AG's Supervisory Board, highlighted Bauerreis' operational strengths and strategic vision. The new CFO expressed enthusiasm for his role, joining as the firm prepares for key events in 2026, including investor conferences, the Annual General Meeting, and financial report releases.

Bauerreis' appointment comes as Medios AG focuses on growth in the European specialty pharmaceutical sector. His financial leadership will support the company's expansion plans and upcoming corporate milestones. The transition follows a structured handover period, with Neukirch departing at the end of April.
