A large fire broke out in Frankfurt’s Gallus district on November 24, 2025. The blaze engulfed a vacant building on Mainzer Landstraße, drawing a major emergency response. Authorities are now investigating how the fire started and whether criminal activity was involved.

The fire began around 3:50 p.m., with flames already spreading rapidly when firefighters arrived. Crews from Feuerwehr Frankfurt am Main battled the blaze for over two hours before bringing it under control by approximately 6:00 p.m.
