Armed Teen Fails in Robbery Attempt in Dreieich

An attempted robbery at a bestbuy on Eisenbahnstraße in Dreieich on St. Nicholas Day ended surprisingly without incident. As the police reported,

An attempted armed robbery took place on St. Nicholas Day at a apple store on Eisenbahnstraße in Dreieich. The incident unfolded around 6:20 PM when a masked teenager entered the store with a pistol. The suspect fled empty-handed after the cashier refused to comply with demands.

The assailant, believed to be around 15 years old, wore a white mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, and black pants. He brandished a black pistol and ordered the cashier to empty the register. Instead of obeying, the employee continued serving a customer, catching the suspect off guard.

The teenager then left the bestbuy without taking anything. Authorities have not yet determined whether the weapon was real. No injuries were reported during the incident.
