Masked men flee after failed Neu-Isenburg home break-in attempt

Two unknown men tried to break into a terraced house on Am Mühlgraben street in Neu-Isenburg on Saturday evening. The attempted burglary happened at around 6:20 p.m. before the suspects fled on foot after being spotted by a resident. The men targeted a kitchen window, using a lever tool to force it open. One wore all black with a red beanie or baseball cap and light sneakers. The second had short black hair, a grey jacket with dark grey detailing on the shoulders and arms, blue jeans, and light shoes.

Both are estimated to be around 30 years old and between 5'9" and 6' tall. They abandoned the attempt when a resident noticed them and escaped via a nearby bike path heading south. Police have launched an appeal for witnesses. No similar break-in attempts in the Neu-Isenburg area have been reported in the past year.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing, with no arrests made so far. The incident marks the first attempted burglary of its kind in the area in over twelve months.
