Masked intruder smashes into fast-food joint but leaves empty-handed at dawn

A masked intruder broke into a fast-food restaurant in Neu-Isenburg early Wednesday morning. The suspect fled empty-handed after causing around €1,000 in damage to the property. Police are now searching for witnesses who may have seen the individual or the motorcycle used in the escape.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:18 a.m. on Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Straße. The suspect forced open a door to enter the premises while carrying a crowbar. Despite gaining access to the safe room, nothing was stolen, and the vault remained untouched.

The intruder was described as wearing black shoes, grey pants, a dark blue jacket, and a black hooded sweatshirt. Bright orange gloves and a mask concealed their identity. An alarm may have sounded during the break-in, prompting the suspect to leave quickly on a motorcycle before officers arrived.

Authorities have urged anyone with information about the suspect or the motorcycle to come forward. The criminal investigation unit is handling the case and reviewing any available evidence.

The break-in left the restaurant with minor structural damage but no financial loss. Police continue to investigate the incident and are asking the public for leads. Anyone with relevant details can contact the criminal investigation unit directly.
