Masked attackers target supermarket workers in early-morning robbery attempt

Two supermarket employees were targeted in an attempted robbery on Frankfurter Straße early Monday morning. The assailants fled without taking anything, leaving police with no clear leads. Authorities are now asking the public for help in identifying the suspects.

The incident took place at around 5:40 a.m. Two masked men, both roughly 1.70 metres tall with slender builds, had been hiding in a nearby green space. Dressed in dark clothing and wearing caps, they approached the women as they arrived for work.

One of the employees noticed the pair and screamed, prompting both women to run away. The would-be robbers then escaped empty-handed toward Heidelberger Straße.

Since the attack, police have found no concrete clues or suspects. Investigators continue to review the case but have made no progress in identifying those responsible.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact police on 069 8098-1234. The investigation remains open, with no updates reported so far. The two employees escaped unharmed, but the suspects are still at large.
