Marsh McLennan Names Andrea Bono as New CEO for IMEA Region

Marsh McLennan, a global professional services firm, has appointed Andrea Bono as the new CEO of its India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region, effective January 2026. Bono will be based in Dubai and report to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Marsh McLennan International.

Bono brings over three decades of experience to the role, having started his career in London and joined Marsh in 2010. He has held several senior positions within the company, including co-General Manager and co-CEO of Marsh Italy. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Eastern Mediterranean Region and Marsh McLennan Italy.

In his new role, Bono will lead the strategic development and execution of Marsh McLennan's commercial strategy across the IMEA region. He aims to deliver the firm's unique capabilities, enabled by cutting-edge AI and analytics, to clients across the region. Bono also plans to strengthen and expand client relationships in the IMEA markets. The IMEA region, which typically includes India, the Middle East, and Africa, represents an area of significant growth for Marsh McLennan, according to Flavio Piccolomini.

Andrea Bono's extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of the Marsh McLennan business make him well-positioned to lead the IMEA operations. His focus will be on delivering the firm's market-leading, specialized capabilities across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting to clients in the IMEA region.
