Mario De Marco leads international sales at Rittal

Rittal has named Mario De Marco as its new Chief Sales Officer (CSO). The appointment aims to bolster the company’s international sales amid growing geopolitical and economic challenges. De Marco brings over two decades of experience in global markets to the role.

De Marco’s career at Rittal spans more than 20 years, with leadership roles in export and sales. Most recently, he managed International Market and Subsidiary Operations, expanding dealer networks and establishing foreign subsidiaries. His work has been key in building the company’s global sales structure.

Before this promotion, he served as Managing Director International Sales (CSO) starting in July 2025. Niko Mohr, CEO of Rittal International and a member of the Friedhelm Loh Group’s executive board, highlighted De Marco’s contributions to the company’s international growth. The new CSO now faces a complex landscape marked by deglobalisation, rapid technological change, and economic instability. In response, De Marco stresses the importance of agility and customer-focused solutions. His strategy will prioritise strengthening client relationships while supporting their digital transformation. Rittal’s decision reflects its commitment to maintaining global leadership in industrial infrastructure. The company aims to ensure its digital transformation support remains a top priority under De Marco’s leadership.

De Marco’s appointment comes at a critical time for Rittal. His deep market knowledge and long-standing experience will guide the company’s sales strategy through ongoing global challenges. The focus remains on delivering sustainable progress for customers worldwide.
