Marburg ethical shop hit by overnight burglary—police seek witnesses

A store specialising in ethically sourced products on Neue Kasseler Straße in Marburg was broken into earlier this week. The burglary occurred between Tuesday, January 20, at 9:00 PM and Thursday, January 22, at 8:45 AM. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The burglars forced open the front door of the shop before searching the office for valuables. Cash was stolen during the break-in, though the exact amount has not been disclosed. Authorities have yet to identify the owner or manager of the affected business.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Marburg Police Station. The investigation remains ongoing as officers review evidence from the scene.
