Man Shot in Frankfurt's Niederrad; Suspect at Large

A 46-year-old man was shot in the thigh in Frankfurt's Niederrad district last night. The incident occurred around 22:55 near Bruchfeldstraße. Despite the injury not being life-threatening, police launched a major operation to find the suspect who fled the scene immediately.

The homicide unit has taken over the investigation, with police appealing to witnesses to come forward. The motive behind the shooting and the relationship between the suspect and the victim remain unknown. The suspect, who is still at large, has not been identified. Police secured evidence at the scene and systematically searched green spaces, a nearby playground, and parts of Bruchfeldstraße. A fire department was also involved in the search operation.

The suspect involved in the shooting incident in Frankfurt-Niederrad remains unidentified and unapprehended. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police. The victim's injuries are being treated, and the investigation continues to determine the motive and apprehend the suspect.
