Imposter Policeman Relieves Truck Driver of 10,000 Euros - Man Impersonates Officer, Steals €10,000 from Truck Driver in Dietzenbach
A man posing as a police officer recently targeted a truck driver in Dietzenbach, making off with €10,000. The incident occurred when the suspect, around 30 years old, approached the driver in a police-like jacket and cap, asking for documents. The suspect, claiming to be conducting a routine inspection, searched the truck for drugs and other illegal items. During this fake inspection, he relieved the driver of €10,000 before fleeing the scene with an accomplice in a car. The police are now seeking witnesses to help identify the suspect and his accomplice. The name of the arrested perpetrator has not been released to the public at this time. The police urge anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity to come forward. The truck driver was left unharmed, but the incident serves as a reminder to remain vigilant against such deceptive tactics.
