Man Assaults Woman in Wiesbaden Pedestrian Zone; Suspect at Large

Early Tuesday morning, an unknown man assaulted a woman in the pedestrian zone of Wiesbaden. The attack occurred around 3:10 AM in Kirchgasse, leaving the woman injured and shaken.

The assailant, described as being between 20 and 30 years old with an average build and a 'German appearance', stood around 1.85 meters tall. He was dressed in a baseball cap, a dark hoodie, light jogging pants, and light shoes during the incident. The attacker punched and kicked the woman, and also hurled insults at her.

A resident bravely intervened by shouting at the attacker from their window. This caused the man to flee the scene, heading towards Luisenstraße. The police are now searching for the suspect and urge anyone with information to contact the 1st Police Precinct at (0611) 345-2140.

The police have not yet released the name or identity of the alleged perpetrator. The attack is being investigated, and authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the suspect.
