Major roadworks to disrupt travel in Auringen, Breckenheim and Schierstein this December

Roadworks and closures will disrupt travel in parts of Auringen, Breckenheim and Schierstein from early December. Several streets and bus routes will be affected, with some full closures lasting up to three weeks. Drivers, cyclists and public transport users are advised to plan ahead for detours and delays.

From December 1, Sieglindeweg in Auringen will close completely between house numbers 1a and 15 until around December 19. The shutdown, due to sewer maintenance, applies to all vehicles, including bicycles. Pedestrians may still use sidewalks as normal. Residents of houses 1 to 5 can reach their properties via Alfred-Schumann-Straße during the works.

The works will cause delays and reroutes for drivers, cyclists and bus passengers over the coming weeks. Pedestrians can continue using sidewalks in all affected areas. Authorities have not confirmed which body is overseeing the utility work on Anton-Berges-Straße in Schierstein.
