Major Crime Ring Dismantled: 7 Arrested, 2 At Large

A major crime ring responsible for over 80 burglaries across West Hesse, Bavaria, and Rhineland-Palatinate has been dismantled. Two suspects remain at large, with arrest warrants issued against them, while others have been apprehended and convicted with strong conviction. The cross-regional network, involving seven suspects including three Italians and four Albanians, operated between November 2024 and July 2025. Three suspects were arrested in February 2025 and later convicted in October 2025. Two additional suspects were apprehended, and stolen property and burglary tools were seized. Separate investigations into commercial fencing operations have been launched to trace the stolen goods. The dismantling of this criminal network has significantly reduced residential burglaries in the affected regions. Authorities continue to pursue the remaining two suspects, with arrest warrants currently in effect.
